Field Notes

Table of Contents

During his research in the High Arctic, David Gray made extensive notes of his observations of Arctic hares. All scientists who work in the field keep such notes, which provide 'raw data'. They also serve as a jog to memory when the scientist later analyzes and reports on findings. Some of David's notes record the very moment of a discovery.
