Ornithologists, budding birders and artists will delight in the Canadian Museum of Nature Bird Gallery. It's an indoor birdwatching adventure!

Imagine a tranquil, bright and airy setting in which you can see the detail and delicate beauty of these winged wonders up close.

Through multimedia experiences, interactive displays and an impressive collection of 500 specimens, you'll discover most of the bird species found in Canada—from the Ruby-throated Hummingbird to the Great Horned Owl and the rare King Rail.

Here's your opportunity to be a researcher and collect your own data, improve your bird identification skills, match a bird to its song and even learn to imitate our feathered friends.

Don't forget to check out the kids' area, where children can learn about protecting and taking care of injured birds.

Birds of a feather stick together... so come and discover some of Canada's wild birds!
