Knowing more about nature gives us the tools to make better decisions about resources. It provides the basis for new technologies and developments, and promotes a better understanding of how we affect—and are affected by—the natural world.

The Canadian Museum of Nature is mandated to help shape and deepen the knowledge and attitudes of Canadians towards nature.

One of the key ways we carry this out is through our National Education for Youth Programme.

This fund needs your support so that we can disseminate knowledge and educate Canadians about the importance of protecting the biodiversity of our natural world.

Your commitment to the museum's National Education for Youth Programme will help support innovative programming designed to engage, inspire and educate about nature and the environment.
